Carpet Skirting Boards

Carpet skirting boardsis a new type of decorative material or replacement product for modern decoration. Like all previous baseboards, it plays a role in visual balance, beautification and protection of corners and floors in the decoration space.

Carpet skirting boards is equipped with special yin and yang corner accessories and fixing parts.

1. Observe whether the ground and wall at the corners are flat. If the unevenness is flattened with a shovel, then clean it up. Otherwise, the skirting will be bent unevenly after being installed, and some will not be fully attached to the wall, leaving unsightly gaps.

2. Saw a section of 15cm long aluminum alloy skirting line, clip the clip to the slot on the back, lean against the wall and make a mark on the extraction hole of the clip.

Before drilling, observe the wiring direction of the water and electricity to prevent mistakes. The interval between drilling holes should not be too large, generally about 40cm is more appropriate.

Use a special tool to drill holes in the wall, and then use plastic nails to drive into the newly drilled holes. Fasten the clip to the wall with screws. 

3. The corners that protrude from the wall are called positive corners, and the corners that are recessed are called negative corners. To install the yin and yang corners is to use the yin and yang corners to draw the fixed point positions on the wall, then take holes, nail plastic, and then fix the yin and yang corners to the corners with screws.

Note: Since the pipes of the hydropower project are buried on the wall, the position of the pipes is directly below the switch socket. When drilling holes, the position should be calculated to avoid damage.

4. Finally, measure the size distance of each section with a tape measure, cut out the corresponding size with a cutting machine, and clip it on the corresponding buckle. The length of each aluminum alloy skirting line is 3 meters. When the wall exceeds the length of the skirting line, a clip should be installed in the middle of the interface, so as to ensure the smoothness of the skirting line.

The skirting line should be completely close to the wall, leaving no gaps, it is more beautiful, especially the corners. The flatness of the wall should be tested before installation.
