LAYING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Choose profile according to tile thickness.

2. Use a U-slot spatula of the appropriate size to apply a thin layer of mortar to the area where the profile will be placed.

   2a. When using L - or R-shaped bulldozers and corners of external walls, tile one wall first, then use a trowel to thin the mortar at the corners of the second wall.

   2b. For 10mm Tile Trims the cavity below the profile bevel is filled with thin mortar before setting the trim.

3. The perforated anchor leg of the profile is pressed into the mortar until the mortar fills the circular cut. The finish is then aligned with the edge of the tile, ensuring that the tile is flush with the lower edge of the finish to ensure even grout joint space between the finish and tile.

  4. Trowel additional thin set mortar evenly over the perforated anchoring leg completely covering the        circle cutouts to ensure full coverage and support of the tile edges. The anchor leg should be                partially buried in the sealant.

  5. Ensure the tile is flush with top of profile or slightly lower. The profile should not be higher than              the tiled surface, but rather up to approx. 1/32” (1 mm) lower.

  6. After the tiles and profile have set, fill the grout joint completely with grout.

  7. Gently wipe off any excess grout or thin set mortar immediately.

Hero Metal's 10mm tile trims does not require any special maintenance,easy to clean,you can wipe it off easily.After long use, the surface is still as new.
