Brushed Anodised Aluminium Square Edge Tile Trim

Tile Trim is powerful aluminium profile system with a square edge to protect tile's corners and edges. It has a perforated plate anchoring leg for securing in the adhesive or mortar bed below the tile's surface.

Brushed Anodised Aluminium Square Edge Tile Trim is suitable for exterior use. The surface of the trim is anodised in milk finish or anodized gold, which protects surface of trim from scratching and oxidation when used in an interior application.

Suitable for use in home decoration but not in submerged areas that have constant contact with moisture such as swimming pools, commercial showers, etc.

Comes in lengths of 2.5 meters or 2.7 meters etc.

Also available in a standard aluminium milk finish and a glossy black or golden coated finish.

How to install Brushed Aluminum Tile Trim Edging Profiles ?

Here is my installation on belowed.

1. Choose the profile base on tile thickness and format.

2. Using a notched trowel, apply thin-set mortar to the place where the profile is to be placed.

3. Pressing the perforated anchoring leg into the mortar and align.

4. Trowel additional thin-set mortar over the perforated anchoring leg to make sure full coverage and support of the tile edges.

5. Solidly embed the tiles so that the tiled surface is flush with the top of the profile; the profile should not be higher than the tiled surface, but rather up to approx. 1 mm lower.

6. Leave a space of approximately 1.5 - 3 mm between the profile and tile.

7. Fill in the joint completely with setting material.

8. Remove needless grout or mortar residue from the visible surface of the profile.
