What are the reasons for the recent impact on aluminum prices
Leave a message
From March to July, the international aluminum price continued to decline, but the recent price has obviously increased. The reasons that affect the price are:
1.The pace of interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve has slowed down;
2. Concerns about the European energy crisis have rekindled, and the market is expected to reduce production;
3. The real estate policy has picked up.
Aluminum plants in some places have continued to grow in production capacity, while others have also lost money. There has been a decline in production costs, but the market demand has not met expectations. Due to the sharp drop in aluminum prices, the loss-making aluminum plants are not very willing to ship, and even have negative growth, resulting in an increase in smelter inventories.
